Charles de Goal – ‘Exposition’
Taken from their 1981 debut ‘Algorythmes’.
I think maybe our homie Eavvon from Pitchfork (& Shruglife DJ) had a lot to do with this video or party in some way shape or form… (I think those black hands in the intro are his)
Even if he isn’t the hand model (and I think he should look into it as a backup plan) this track is killer in all ways. Dom’s- Bochicha is a great track. This was recorded live in Pitchfork’s Brooklyn offices.
Bag Raiders – Way Back Home
Directed by Kris Moyes.
From the upcoming debut self-titled album, released October 1. Buy the “Way Back Home” single on iTunes.
You don’t realize how good a band is sometimes until you watch ‘em in HD. Great video of The Talking Heads just on point vocally. Strangely I just found this video a few months ago.
See that Q2 up there? Makes it look like I got some sorta system involved with these lists huh now. A quarterly system even – just like all them multi-nationals and universities and what have you. Yep, preeettty fancy.
Anyhow, don’t think I ever Q1′d it tho. In fact, I made this list like a month ago, and this post has just been sitting there in the drafts even though I thought I posted it. Actually have heard about another solid 10er in the past month alone, which is kinda nuts given that this one spans about 6, so get ready for Q3 soon! or maybe like Q2.5…or the lost Q….type Q negative… anyhow…

so yeah, couple obvious ones, but check out Village Orchestra or Loscil if you like ambient stuff, Alex Smoke if you like heady techno, James Pants of the Tigersushi comp if you like post-punk/lo-fi/weird stuff/the occult, Ablehearts for some damaged beauty, and check out the Javelin album just cuz….it’s got a lot of good jams.
Hey, here you go…some toobs to facilitate the process.
Until next time…

found this dope video remix of Power Rangers from DJ Sega via the Mad Decent blog, Happy weekend peeps!
Well when I first saw the ipad, I personally couldn’t care less about a giant itouch and never intended on getting, but now see this capability(i knew it was easily possible, just waiting for someone to do it and show me how), kind of want one so I can DJ a little deadmau5 and daft punk style and look cooler than I actually am, although I still don’t think it’s worth it.
I’ve been a huge fan of The Bloody Beetroots for quite a while now and love 98% of everything they do. If you’re not familiar with them, I suggest you do a bit of research. The majority of their tunes can be a little too hard and even scary for some people, but if you enjoy it you should definitely see them live(you’ll be far from disappointed). Now that they’ve been on a constant rise for the past 2 or 3 years they’ve begun branching out and really stretching their artistic legs into film, photography, and adding elements to their music that no one else is doing and injecting a lot of their punk rock attitude into electronic music and creating some really unique music. This is a clip from one of their first film ventures featuring their new song “Domino”. I think these guys are really changing the game and really look forward to following their artistic journey wherever it goes
