Full Time Fun

It is true that China’s economy is booming, and that  there is a growing middle class

rapidly filling that enormous  gap between the rich and poor.  However, prosperity

& success in today’s China is not without it’s price. The Rapid growth of industry means

rapid production of pollution & increase demand of overseas manufacturing equals a

decrease in suppliers in the states. The high cost of low prices at super mega stores are

becoming as big, as…well…Wal-Mart itself.

I guess that’s just how it goes. History will show that the balance of power will always

be in flux, and that the common man will always be the ones to endure for they are the

ones that fade  in to the background as time passes. That is what I take  from Liu Bolin’s

art, and no I won’t be going in dept because frankly the videos explain his invisibility

pretty damn clearly.

…if I did, and if I was in LA I would totally go to this. Ha! I know what you are thinking

…excuses, excuses, but whatever man I don’t have the time nor money so relax bald

guy with the soul patch that knows about every undiscovered form of art out there.

Anyway…I’ve been a big fan of James Jeans work for a long time and no he isn’t an

obscure undiscovered underground artist neither. He is in fact quite the opposite,

and with goodreason too. Simply put this guy’s work mixes digital and tradition

media in a way that it breathes sweet sweer life into the otherwise dying field

of commercial illustration. The nerdy comic book artist in me urges you to
