I don’t know why, but I feel like we (I) haven’t been shouting out the ladies enough (at all?). So– that makes Nicki Minaj even more of a godsend, because she’s def the nexxxt when it comes to the baddest bitch pedigree. With all do respect, of course. Lil Kim & Foxy– no need to stress that the women aren’t being repped for…cuz we know Trina’s dropped the ball.

I fucks with video a lot. And a few months ago, I had the chance to film Definitive Jux owner and resident C”EMO” El-P on a bunch of tiny surveillance camera…i never had any idea it would come out this well, but you know, that’s usually how the best projects go. I think the context of the song really streamlines well with the actual vibe of the footage…hopefully you all agree.
This is the start of a new series I’m working on– but there will be more on that later. Hope yall enjoy.

I’m pretty damn fond of musical videos in either a conventional hood hype williams sense or in a “too broke to make my own rendition of purple rain- and not weird enough to make a moonwalker” Kanye/ Lady gaga sort of short film deal. Which is why i really toss off to the Moop Jaw videos.
