I recently was in Boston paying visit to a buddy who has just been re-located to The Bean for work. I stumbled on Bodega Girls by accident while I was doing a Google Search for the sneaker shop “Bodega” out there.

Bodega Girls happen to also be from Boston and I was pleasantly surprised with their stuff. Their vocals remind me of The Hives meets Jet on top of a slower CSS vibe. The combination works really well for this disco funky electro group. They are only 2 tracks I have gotten my hands on. If the rest of their stuff follows suit, there is no reason why Bodega Girls shouldn’t be dominating your playlists.
