Eric put me on to these guys a few months ago. They kinda remind me of early Peter Bjorn And John, the album is a nice mix of departures into various style of music. Home is a great lighthearted nugget of sunshine, appropriate for this pre-sping weather we’re having.

Pendulum produce some serious trip beats. Its a mix of the Gorillaz meets Radiohead with a splash of The Faint (I hope my descriptions does them justice cause they rock)

Not sure what it is about this song I like so much, maybe because I love electro and classical music and these guys do a great job at combining the two, who knows. Regardless it’s a must listen and maybe you might get a little smarter, unless that only works with Mozart

So after watching this, I’m convinced that the Crookers have been either dropping tons of acid while working on their new album(dropping March 8th) or not sleeping at all, either way this video is weird. It’s a lot different than the usual Crookers track, as is most of the album that I’ve heard so far, still good, just different. I’ll be keeping an eye and an ear out for more and definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of the album next week.

Rico Tubbs is a DJ/producer from Finland who is going to be making some big noise soon. I’ve heard a few of his remixes and originals in the past few weeks and have to say, so far I’m a fan of everything he’s putting his name on and looking forward to more. Here’s a little taste:
